RESPOND Staff
 


RESPOND has a talented, compassionate staff of 16 along with 30 dedicated volunteers.

Jessica C. Brayden, Executive Director


 
Selected by the board of directors in early 2008 to lead RESPOND, Inc., Ms. Brayden brings over 15 years of not-for-profit management experience to New England’s first domestic violence agency. She oversees all aspects of programs and management to ensure efficiency, fiscal and service accountability, and the organization's creative and innovative growth. Ms. Brayden's career has focused on program development and stabilization and she has distinguished herself through creative change management and strategic programmatic enhancement. Most recently she served as the Director of Programs and Operations for Morgan Memorial Goodwill Industries’ Salem, Massachusetts facility. Prior to that, she held leadership positions at Family Continuity Program in Lawrence, Massachusetts, including Director of Administrative Operations, Director of Human Resources, and Program Director. Ms. Brayden holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Salem State College and trained with the Human Resource Management Certificate Program at Bentley College. She is currently working towards her MBA at Salem State College.

Daniele Levine, Director of Development


 
As Director of Development at RESPOND, Daniele manages all fundraising efforts to sustain programs and support services for women and children impacted by domestic violence, as well as community education and outreach initiatives to spread awareness about the problem of family violence. Daniele joined RESPOND's team in late 2001 and brings over 10 years of non-profit development and direct service experience.  Previously, she worked for the International Rescue Committee in Boston where she assisted newly arriving refugees to rebuild their lives.  She still serves as a volunteer member of the IRC Advisory Board, and taught English as a Second Language as a volunteer at Somerville Community Adult Learning Experiences (SCALE). Daniele holds a BA from Tufts University.
