Every Room Has a Story.

Behind every door at RESPOND, something important is happening:

A survivor is meeting with an advocate.

A young adult is searching for housing.

A family is resting in a safe place for the night.

A parent is taking a breath and planning what comes next.

These aren’t just rooms. They are places where safety begins and new possibilities take shape.

ROOM NAMING

Through Room Stewardship, you can steward a specific space at RESPOND and make a one-year commitment to help sustain it. As a Room Steward, you’ll have opportunities to learn more about the work happening in your space, receive updates throughout the year, and stay connected to the impact of your partnership.

Our hope is that you’ll come to see this space as your own, build a meaningful connection to its story, and feel inspired to steward it for years to come.

RESPOND's Room Stewards

We are grateful to the individuals, families, businesses, and organizations who have chosen to invest in RESPOND’s mission through Room Stewardship.

Emergency Shelter Bedroom

After leaving abuse, a survivor may arrive at RESPOND’s Emergency Shelter with little more than a bag of belongings. A private bedroom gives them and their family a safe place to sleep, breathe, and begin again.
